PHOENIX, February 15 & 16: MVS to give two public lectures this week

I’m giving two lectures in the Phoenix area next week, both open to the public:

February 15th at ASU on licensing rights, and February 16th at the Phoenix Art Museum on contemporary photography I’ve been impressed by of late.  Details below!

FEBRUARY 15th at ASU: MVS will be speaking in the evening on Tuesday, February 15th at 8 pm in the Life Sciences Building room 106 on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe.

GRANTING THE RIGHTS TO REPRODUCE YOUR ART WORK: A Lecture by Mary Virginia Swanson Benefiting the Student Photographers’ Association at ASU.” Lecture open to the public. $5 fee for non-members of the Photographers’ Association.

Parking: Parking is available in the Fulton Center parking garage (on College and University) and surface pay-lots on Myrtle avenue.

FEBRUARY 16th at the Phoenix Art Museum: ” Join INFOCUS and Mary Virginia Swanson for the second annual spotlight program on up-and-coming photographers. Swanson, a sought-after reviewer at FotoFest, Review Santa Fe and PhotoLucida, frequently serves as a judge on international photography competitions. She also maintains a popular blog about opportunities for photographers called Marketing Photos and has recently completed work with coauthor Darius Himes on their forthcoming book Publish Your Photography Book (to be released March 2011, Princeton Architectural Press)

The Phoenix Art Museum is open until 9 pm on Wednesday; admission fee is voluntary.
