Deadline: Wednesday, September 21, 2011, midnight MST
Fees: $40 for 3 images ($10 for each image over 3)

“A season of faces, places, textures and moods, there’s a personality to summer, and it’s yours to capture and interpret. Color or black-and-white, an object, a person, a location, a moment…the magic of summer lingers in your images. The topic of Summer is wide open and relevant to us all, no matter what type of photographer you are.”

“The Workshops is grateful to our educational partners and sponsors who have contributed to an impressive prize list with a total value of over $13,000. Entrants have the opportunity to win one Grand Prize, one Second Prize, one Third Prize, or one of 46 Honorable Mentions. Entrants who are alumni are eligible to win one Workshops Director’s Award.”

Eligibility: The contest is open to all photographers over the age of 18
Image Format:72 ppi jpegs, 1,280 pixels on the longest side, RGB
