Save the date: On Tuesday, October 15th MVS will present a lecture on the evolution of personal projects titled “From Concept to Audience: The Life of a Photographic Project” at 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Whitsell Auditorium, Portland Art Museum. This event is co-sponsored by the ASMP Oregon Chapter and the Portland Art Museum’s Photography Council. Registration details TBA.

Fee: $85, includes buffet lunch. Space is limited.

In this one-day seminar, Mary Virginia Swanson will walk us through steps essential to ensure that thorough research and wise decisions will lead to creating work that is authentic in its making and its presentation with the strongest possibility of sponsorship, exhibitions and publications. Join us at Aravaipa Farm for an engaging and informative day with your peers!

Who Should Attend: Photographers who have begun producing or a personal project they wish to bring to its broadest possible audience in exhibition, book and/or online format(s) would greatly benefit from this seminar.
